I think user generated content and small independent publishers are the future of the industry....more later. So that's pretty safe ground. But your article also touched on something more important than technology trends: independent, self-publishers. Over the next 5 years, this will have MUCH more influence on the video gaming industry than hardware development alone. The ability of everyday users to develop and deliver specialized content to a target audience will change everything. We saw this happen in the music industry first, and now it's happening in the newspaper industry. To me, that was the most important observation you made.
